A warm approach and expert care for your child
I am a physician dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and their families. As a specialist in pediatric neurology, I possess extensive and broad-ranging experience in the assessment, treatment, and long-term follow-up of various developmental, learning-related, and neurological challenges. Questions regarding a child's health or development can often cause concern and uncertainty for parents. For this reason, it is of the utmost importance to me to create an unhurried, safe, and trusting atmosphere during consultations—an environment where a child can feel completely at ease.

Conditions addressed during consultations
You may book an appointment if your child or adolescent (under 16 years of age) presents with any of the following symptoms, needs for assessment, or concerns:
- Neurodevelopmental assessments and follow-up: Suspected ADHD or autism spectrum conditions, diagnostic evaluations, initiation of treatment, and follow-up visits.
- Development and learning: Developmental delays, challenges with speech or motor skills, and learning difficulties in school-aged children.
- Neurological symptoms: Recurrent or persistent headaches, migraines, and various types of seizures or suspected seizure-related symptoms.
- Sleep disorders: Evaluation of sleep-related issues, difficulty falling asleep, and sleep disturbances in children and adolescents.
- General pediatric care: Acute childhood illnesses and common infections (such as ear infections, prolonged coughs, and colds).
Please note that my practice does not cover pediatric surgical issues, such as acute injuries, fractures, wounds, or minor surgical procedures. When necessary, I work in close collaboration with other specialists and support networks involved in the child's care to ensure the best possible support.

Instructions for Booking
I see patients in the private sector at Lääkärikeskus Karhulinna Portti in Pori and at Lääkärikeskus Minerva in Eura. Appointments are booked directly through the medical centers' own online booking systems.
To ensure we have enough time to thoroughly address your child's situation, please select the appropriate appointment duration when booking:
Initial pediatric neurology consultations and comprehensive assessments: Please always book a 60-minute appointment. This ensures sufficient time to review background information and any previous medical records, interview the family, and prepare necessary documentation (such as medical reports/certificates).
Follow-up visits and acute concerns: A 30-minute appointment is sufficient for routine follow-ups (e.g., medication monitoring) or acute issues such as infections.
